System Requirements
Server
To run CFAWin Applications the database server must be running one of the following versions of Microsoft SQL Server:
- SQL Server 2005 (any edition)
- SQL Server 2008 (any edition)
Client
The Recommended Minimum Client Specifications for CFAWin Applications are:
- Windows XP Professional, Vista Business, or Vista Ultimate
- Multi-Core Processor
- 512MB RAM
- 200MB available hard disk space
- 100Mbps Ethernet connection (if on a LAN)
- Video and Monitor with at least 1024 x 768 resolution
- Connected laser printer
- Mouse / Pointing device
- Valid MS SQL Server Client licensing
- .NET 2.0 Framework
Minimum requirements are based solely on CFAWin Applications. Performance may vary
depending on your network hardware and software configuration. As with most
computer operating systems you may improve performance by adding more RAM. Also,
a faster CPU is likely to improve performance.
Terminal Server Environment
To run CFAWin Applications optimally in a Terminal Server environment,
you must have the following in place:

Operational Terminal Server acting as an Application Server

Operational Terminal Server Client Access Licenses
- A network-ready printer with manufacturer-supported
compatibility in a Presentation/Terminal Server
environment
